Welcome to our pivotal research initiative exploring the Church in Sub-Saharan Africa's response to crises.
This study aims to understand and analyse the diverse roles and strategies of church organisations, leaders, and youth in addressing crises.
The project is a collaboration between the University of Pretoria and Focus Team Leadership Training (FTLT), in partnership with various local and regional networks and alliances, such as Tearfund, the AEA, MANI, the WEA-Mission Commission, etc.
Focus for 2024: While our research aims to cover the entire sub-Saharan region, our specific focus for the year 2024 is on eight countries: Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
